Marc Ó Riain
Marc Ó Riain is an award-winning Loop Head-based author. His anthology The Last of the Light won the 2023 Carousel Aware Prize. His previous work has been published in the Sunday Tribune, Southword and The Galway Review. His fiction has been shortlisted for a Hennessy New Irish Writing Award and his poetry for the Gregory O’Donoghue International Poetry Prize.
He holds an MA in Writing from NUI Galway and is a part-time creative writing tutor.
